并列句的特点是：并列句必须由两个或两个以上的主语、谓语结构组成，并且它们之间互不依从，通常它们之间由并列连词连接，去掉连词后它们都可以独立成句。
如果一个主语有两个或两个以上的谓语动词；或者有两个或两个以上的主语，却只有一个谓语动词不是并列句。例如：
He closed the window, put on his coat, opened the door and went out.
他关上窗户，穿上大衣，打开门出去了。
Jim , Tom and I are in the same class. 我和吉姆、汤姆在同一个班。
